Links for thought…

  • Doug Noon’s site
  • Interesting stuff on how writing in blogs/wikis may be more developmentally appropriate for teaching writing to elementary children.

  • Edtech talk
  • The Website for a regular Skype based conference on education technology.  Learned about ELGGs from here (that was too much, I’ll wait until next year to try that) which are social networking sites (like My Space, but you can set them up for education purposes)

  • Pat Aroune’s website
  • High school teacher in New York who gave me the idea for my Vyew homework club.

  • tn turner’s edublog
  • Another teacher blog from someone who is implementing web 2.0 in the classroom.  He knows alot about the Discovery Educators Network.

  • Will Richardson’s Blog
  • A guru on web 2.0. His site has lots of info, and collects lots of comments/links/etc. to teachers who are trying to bring meaningful technology to the classroom. I like that he had 49 superintendents at a recent conference, and asked teachers on his site to post issues to bring up about read/write web.
