I share the what was an icky week for me at Day in a Sentence, released | Kevin’s Meandering Mind. I will be hosting this institution (hey, it’s on the Internet, and it’s been around for longer than a month) for this week. Look for a post to post your four to five sentence paragraph about how your week went, here on Friday.

Mr. Moses in mrmoses.org » A Little Work in the Private Sector – Office 2.0 does what many others of us have done, and shamelessly takes advantage of someone less technology adept, who is paying him to be told to use free online productivity apps. Frankly, having used Excel for finance reporting, I don’t think that Google Apps is up to the task, but I look forward to further reports from Glenn.

Diane brings literary analysis to the analysis of contemporary events in Journeys: Spindles where she discusses the absurdity of a recent ruling in Australia closing down a prominent school blog. She compares it to the story of Sleeping Beauty and the spindle prick, but manages not to use that term for any of the bureaucrats involved.

Sure, it’s an Institution of sorts.
We even have a Day in Sentence Graduate Degree — you get a few credits for writing, a few for exploring and a few for hosting.
    :)
Thanks for hosting this week, Alice.
I look forward to seeing what comes forth in words.
    Your friend,
    Kevin
